What it is

Roleplay, but the map is the planet

You already know the format: a city, a job, a car, a crew, and rules the players write themselves. PLANETA keeps all of that and takes the fence away.

The map is not a district of a made-up city. It is the Earth, rebuilt at 1:1 from real geography, so the biggest roleplay server ever built would fit inside one of its suburbs.

It is a standalone game, not a mod. Our engine, our world, our rules.

Why it is different

Built around one idea: scale you can feel

  • 01

    Real geography

Coastlines, elevation, road networks and city layouts are generated from open geodata, then hand-finished where players actually live. If you know the street, you already know the map.

  • 02

    One shared server

No instances, no lobbies, no region locks. Your character exists in exactly one place, and so does everyone else's.

  • 03

    Play a life

Driver, medic, mechanic, dispatcher, patrol, contractor, criminal. Work pays, licences matter, and a reputation follows you across the map.

  • 04

    Cross-play everywhere

The same world and the same character on Windows, macOS, iPhone and Android. Start at your desk, keep going on the bus.

  • 05

    Own something real

Apartments, garages, workshops, storefronts. Property is tied to a real address, and there is exactly one of each on the planet.

  • 06

    Low-poly on purpose

A readable art style that holds a steady frame rate on a four-year-old phone and still looks like somewhere you want to be.

Questions

Straight answers

Is this a GTA roleplay server?

No. It borrows the roleplay format that grew up around those servers, but PLANETA is a standalone game with its own engine, its own map and its own rules. Nothing here is modded on top of someone else's game.

What does 1:1 actually mean?

The world is the real Earth at real size: 510 million square kilometres. Terrain, coastlines and road networks come from open geodata, and the areas where players actually spend their time are finished by hand.

Will my phone run it?

That is what the art style is for. The target is a steady frame rate on mid-range phones from the last four years, and the same build scales up to a desktop GPU.

Is it pay-to-win?

No. Money buys cosmetics and convenience. It never buys stats, police response times, or a better car than the one you earned.

Can I play with friends on other platforms?

Yes. One account, one character, one world. The platform never changes what you are allowed to do.

When can I play?

Closed alpha first, by invitation from the list below, then beta in waves. Leave your email and you will hear about it before it goes public.
